Kashmir - Where Do We Go?
Description
The book Kashmir- Where Do We Go? has tried to deal with the history of Kashmir and how from a quiet Hindu State it gradually turned into a hot bed of politics and a seat of thorn for every central government. It has tried to focus how from a peace loving heaven it transformed into a haven for terrorism. It has tried to show how the growth of international terrorism and cross border terrorism have affected the socio-cultural-religio-economic fabric of Jammu and Kashmir. Along with this the role of Nehru and Sheikh Abdullah as well as some recent developments have made Jammu and Kashmir a place of beauty changed to a place of terror. But darkness is followed by light. And so at the end some possible solutions have been discussed from which we could go to somewhere from a situation of nowhere. However, the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A have somehow led to a situation of stalemate. But this is a temporary phase. To do something bold obstructions and objections are bound to come. But someday this step has to be taken. This book has focussed on the abrogation of the articles and its aftermath for a better future of Kashmir
