Amalgamation of nanoscale science and technology with present day understanding of diseases and their newer targets has revolutionized medicine. It has enabled the researchers to offer new insights and options in diverse fields of diagnostics, therapy, imaging, drug delivery and regenerative medicine. Increasing demand and awareness of applications of nanotechnology in medicine has resulted in the emergence of a new fast-growing discipline of “Nanomedicine”. This volume is a grand compilation of the research progressed in the area pertaining to this futuristic discipline.
